CNIM Babcock Maroc installed special Inconel® tube bending equipment at its Casablanca plant to respond to the needs of industrial customers in fields such as energy production, agribusiness chemical and petrochemicals.
Inconel® tubes, which are widely used in those businesses, are much more corrosion-resistant than stainless steel tubes. They can therefore be used at high temperatures (up to 600 or 700 °C depending on the application).
This new expertise completes our services offering in the field of boilers and pressure vessels in Africa for CNIM Babcock Maroc’s customers and in the waste-to-energy field for customers of our parent company, CNIM.
